OUR PHILOSOPHY
Different from other interior designers, we focus on mini-remodels that are cost effective yet impactful. We are strong proponents of Reimagine, Repurpose, Rediscover. We encourage clients to work with existing materials and layouts, because not only is it more affordable and better for the environment, but, they just don’t make ’em like they used to! When it comes to design, we focus on combining elements of nature, with light, natural, airy colors and furniture pieces to help you create your dream space.
If you’ve watched HGTV, the first step is usually blow out a wall, followed by all new everything. We’re the opposite! Our goal is to help clients see the beauty and potential in what they already have. Say goodbye to the $25,000 kitchen remodel!

Our Story
What do two linguistics professors have in common (besides being married to one another)? We both are passionate about remodeling and restoring neglected spaces. When we moved to Erie in 2020, we were shocked by the affordability of the housing market, but even more shocked by the level of neglect in many of the properties. We decided to dive in head first purchasing a home and completing the remodel ourselves. A few months later, we purchased our first fixer-upper rental property, and completed the full remodel ourselves! Since then, we now own 5 properties and have gained a plethora of knowledge in house renovations and design. Now, we want to help others design their spaces, making educated, cost effective decisions that add value to your property. We’ve recently moved back to the Capital Region – Albany, NY and offer design and handy-person services in the area.
